A Short Guide To Understand The Battle Report

First let me show you a scheme how the Theory of Sets (basic math) works in Space:

Battle Report Scheme - From outer to inner circle: All attackers, alliance attackers/defenders, you A set can contain an infinite number of subsets but can be a subset of a another set as well.
The nature of this mathematical basics has it that any item of a subset is an item of the parental set as well.
However a subset never contains any items of the parental set.
In this case we have to understand the semantics of the word "allied" and "alliance". Being "allied" means having
some subjects on friendly terms with you but this excludes you. Being in an "alliance" means being in a set of
allied subjects, this includes you as well, because the alliance is here the parental set.
So the battle report shows your ("You") forces as Own forces, then it shows the report of the parental set, which
would be the alliance forces ("Alliance defenders/attackers"). This continues in case being the attacking party to
all attackers ("All attackers") which includes you, your allies and 3rd party attackers. You are part of "All attackers"
which your alliance is also part of and that means also you. The reason for this semantically split up report is to give a better
total sum up the last battletick because it turned out that a majority players just want to see the sum of it all instead of needing a calculator to compute it by themselves.
